This place not only has clean rooms and incredible lake views, it has terrific customer service. They even called us to follow up on a question we asked more than two weeks after our stay. Our group of eight people stayed for three nights and all of us agreed it was the highlight of our trip. It’s quiet, comfortable, close to the ferry, and located in a beautiful area. We are definitely going back!

We stayed at Kootenay Lakeview Resort and it was truly a highlight of our trip. The view from our room was absolutely stunning—unobstructed lake and mountain scenery, with blue skies, fluffy clouds, and shimmering waters that felt almost unreal. The surroundings were peaceful and quiet, and we were lucky to enjoy the place without any other guests around, which made the experience feel extra special. Our room was clean, and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and thoughtful, which made the whole experience even better—they really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Although there was no kitchen in the unit, there are BBQ free for guest use. And there’s a restaurant at the nearby golf course just five minutes away by foot, which made dining very convenient. The resort also provides free breakfast in the morning, which was a nice touch. We were especially thrilled to find a private outdoor jacuzzi facing the lake. We quickly changed into swimsuits and soaked in the warm water while watching the sunset. Even our toddler didn’t want to get out—it was pure happiness! Highly recommended for those looking to unwind, recharge, and truly enjoy the beauty of Kootenay Lake.

The room is clean and comfortable. We were assigned an accessable room, though I am not in need of such accommodation. However, if I had been in a wheelchair, I would have been a bit disappointed as it would not have met my expectations. The staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The view of the lake is very nice. The hot tub was also wonderful. The breakfast is indeed light. No protein but delicious muffins, cereals, toast, fruit, and yogurt.

Lovely quiet location with fantastic views from the rooms. Very clean bedroom and bathroom. The bed was comfortable but didn't have a bedside table on both sides....other than that, the room was well equipped. We received a complementary continental breakfast, which was an unexpected bonus. Convenient location just minutes from the ferry terminal. Much better than we'd anticipated.

This is a really nice location with great views of the water. I think each room might have a private balcony, ours did. The bathroom was nice and clean. We checked in after 10pm and the front desk staff member made sure we were all set with keys and everything we needed. They have a nice light continental breakfast until checkout time. Right next door is a golf course so the property was pretty quiet. The night we stayed was sold out but we didn’t hear a peep from the other guests. This hotel is really close to the ferry which we felt was very convenient

Absolutely beautiful. It is so quiet and peaceful. Staff were fantastic and rooms very clean. Continental Breakfast was spot on and a very inviting view all around. Definitely will be back. Top notch

Some really good, some meh. Was charged for both rooms on the card used to guarantee reservation, no elevators! If you need to wheel a load in, you have to request handicap ( 2nd ) floor. No early a.m. checkout function at all. (At a golf course?) Very quiet location , good beds. Limited amenities.
